Itinerary

Day 1 Victoria  
Arrive in Victoria and transfer to your hotel. Later, enjoy a welcome reception with your tour director and fellow travellers.

Day 2  Victoria  
Take a tour of Victoria before visiting the famous floral displays at the Butchart Gardens which have delighted visitors for over 100 years. Afterwards perhaps enjoy an optional whale-watching cruise or a horse drawn carriage tour.

Day 3  Victoria to Whistler
Start the day with a drive to Chemainus before crossing the scenic Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Travel onwards along the winding Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler where there’s a chance to break the journey with a stop at the cascading Shannon Falls before an indulgent indigenous inspired dinner.

Day 4  Whistler
Today is yours to explore at leisure. Perhaps enjoy one of the Enhance Your Journey select experiences available to you such as a breathtaking journey on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which spans the distance between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Peak. The longest and highest gondola in the world.

Day 5  Whistler to Blue River
Sit back and enjoy the views of the rugged Cariboo Region as you head to Blue River for an overnight escape at the Mike Wiegele Heli Village. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake, enjoying a barbecue dinner.

Day 6  Blue River to Jasper
After breakfast set off on a thrilling river safari in Grizzly Bear Valley. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife including bears, eagles and giant moose. Later, follow the famous Yellowhead Highway past Mount Robson on your way to Jasper National Park before enjoying an Insider Experience – a barbecue dinner at the Jasper Stables.
               
Day 7  Jasper
Explore this charming mountain town at leisure, with an array of local tours available. Perhaps enhance your journey with an optional Harley Davidson Sidecar Tour, an evening wildlife experience or take in the memorable Athabasca Valley views from the top of the Jasper SkyTram.

Day 8  Jasper to Lake Louise
A day of real highlights as you visit the deep rocky caverns of Maligne Canyon. Later, travel along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, watching for bears before stopping to ride the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue to spectacular Lake Louise for a stay at the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 9  Lake Louise to Banff
Travel to Banff via Moraine Lake (weather permitting) for a sightseeing tour.

Day 10  Banff    
Explore Banff at leisure. Perhaps enjoy an optional excursion including a heli-flightseeing tour, a Banff Experience Tour or a Bow River float trip.

Day 11  Banff to Kamloops (Rocky Mountaineer – SilverLeaf)  
Board the famous Rocky Mountaineer in SilverLeaf Service and travel to Kamloops through the Spiral Tunnels and past Stoney Creek Bridge. Sit back, relax and watch the scenery go by on this iconic rail journey. For unparallelled views through custom designed bi-level coaches upgrade your tour to experience Rocky Mountaineer’s GoldLeaf Service. Please ask for details.

Day 12  Kamloops to Vancouver (Rocky Mountaineer – SilverLeaf)            
Continue to Vancouver along the winding Thompson River, passing the arid Fraser Valley, thunderous Hell’s Gate and the Coast and Cascade Mountains.

Day 13  Vancouver           
After enjoying breakfast help feed the resident Grizzlies at Grouse Mountain Bear Refuge. Later take in a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the waterfront, historic Gastown and Stanley Park. In the evening enjoy a special farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 14  Vancouver                  
Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
