Vancouver & Seattle by Rail

Days 1-4  Vancouver    
Fly to cosmopolitan Vancouver, a scenic city on Canada’s Pacific Coast. Explore the city at your own pace with a Hop-on Hop-off bus tour. Enjoy a stroll around the picturesque Stanley Park which offers fantastic views of the skyline. Perhaps stop by Granville Island to sample the best of Vancouver’s local and international cuisine or venture out on a sea plane and boat tour with the hopes of spotting a whale.    

Day 5  Vancouver to Seattle    
This morning board Amtrak’s Cascades train and cross the border into the USA. Pull into Seattle around midday and venture out to start exploring this fantastic city.    

Days 6-7  Seattle    
Visit one of the most famous farmers markets in the USA, Pike Place Market. Take a guided tour to taste some of the delicious food on offer here, including baked goods, hearty mac and cheese and clam chowder made from the freshest seafood. Spend the remainder of your time exploring at your own leisure. Why not see iconic landmarks including the futuristic Space Needle or head out to discover the nature of the nearby Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks.      

Days 8-9  Fly home
