Itinerary
Day 1 Shanghai
Upon arrival you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Shanghai
This morning you will meet your guide for a private tour of this cosmopolitan megacity, sometimes referred to as the 'Paris of the East' due to the eclectic mix of historic buildings interspersed between ultramodern skyscrapers. Wander the streets, taking in the contrast of glittering high rise buildings and the 1920’s Art Deco style waterfront of The Bund, a protected historic district. Later, venture to one of the few active monasteries in Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple, famed for its ornate depictions of the Buddha, carved out of crystal. Finish your tour with a visit to the Yu Yuan Gardens, where its winding paths, lush foliage, and classically Chinese architecture transport you back to the Ming Dynasty.
Day 3 Shanghai
It’s time to witness some of the world’s best acrobatics, which have mesmerised audiences for over 2,500 years. Take a seat, popcorn in hand and enjoy a display that blends modern stunts with comedy, magic and traditional Chinese acrobatic arts, making for an evening you won’t soon forget.
Day 4 Shanghai
Today you will be picked up and taken to the airport by a private transfer.
