Itinerary
Day 1 Okayama
Head to Okayama Castle, also known as ‘Crow Castle’ for its black exterior. Explore the now museum and take in the panoramic views from the top floor. Next, visit Koraku-en Gardens, situated on an island in the Asahi-gawa River. Today they have been designated a Special Place of Scenic Beauty and are regarded as one of Japan’s three most beautiful gardens.
Day 2 Kurashiki
This morning, transfer by train to meet your local guide for a private tour of Bizen Pottery Village. Step through the quaint streets and make a stop at the Amatsu Shrine for a short Shinto ceremony. Afterwards you will get the opportunity to make your own pottery by hand.
Day 3 Okayama
Continue with your onward arrangements.
