Stray away from the crowds of Mt. Fuji and spend a day experiencing authentic Japanese food and culture in a small, charming city of Fujinomiya, where Mt. Fuji sits majestically on the horizon. Catch the train from Shin-Fuji Station (approx. 1 hour) and meet your guide in Fujinomiya where your adventure begins (max 10 people). Stroll through the local shotengai, a type of traditional shopping street lined with a variety of shops that are typical to Japan, before taking part in a yakisoba cooking lesson to learn how to make this delicious Japanese noddle dish. After, try on traditional kimonos and visit a UNESCO World Heritage designated shrine which provides a stunning backdrop for some beautiful photos.
