Itinerary
Day 1 Day 1 Okayama to Naoshima Island
Arrive on Naoshima Island, easily reached by train and a short ferry from Okayama. At the port, stop to admire the Red Pumpkin sculpture by Japanese pop artist Yayoi Kusama before heading to your hotel.
Day 2 Naoshima Island
Discover the island by bike or bus. Head to the Chichu Art Museum to see the works of artists such as James Turrell and Claude Monet. Continue to the incredible Lee Ufan Museum to experience more of the island’s mesmerising contemporary art.
Day 3 Naoshima Island to Okayama
Return to Okayama for your onward travel.
