Itinerary
Upon arrival you will be welcomed and guided to the train or bus.
Day 2 Tokyo
Meet your private guide and hop on the metro for a full day discovering the city’s highlights. Start by visiting the famous Meiji Jingu Shrine, then stroll through the high fashion shopping area of Omotesando, commonly referred to as Tokyo’s Champs-Élysées. Wander through nearby Harajuku for a fashion fix before heading to Asakusa, part of the old town, to visit the colourful Sensoji Temple.
Day 3 Tokyo to Fuji Hakone NP
Take an early train to the mountain scenery and lakes of this volcanic area famous for its hot springs and the chance, on a clear day, to catch glimpses of Mount Fuji. Ride the cable car up Mount Owakudani or take a boat trip across Lake Ashinoko. Stay overnight in a ryokan and enjoy a traditional kaiseki dinner.
Day 4 Fuji Hakone NP to Tokyo
Enjoy a dip in your ryokan’s onsen before returning to Tokyo.
Day 5 Tokyo
Transfer back to the airport.
