Itinerary

Day 1  Fly to Seoul    

Days 2-4  Seoul    
Arrive into Seoul, South Korea’s exciting capital city. A private guide will introduce you to this vibrant metropolis. Travel by public transport to see the highlights including grand palaces and the Seoul City Wall. Visit the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), the border between North and South Korea which is steeped in history and intrigue.              

Days 5-6  Seoul to Gwangju    
Travel by high speed train to Gwangju, a city known for art, democracy and culture. See the highlights on a private tour which includes panoramic views from the top of the iconic Sajik Park Tower and the city’s storied past with a walk through Yangnim-dong village.      

Day 7  Gwangju to Jeju Island        
Fly to Jeju Island, a volcanic island with spectacular natural landscapes. Read about the local women divers who fish using traditional techniques at the Haenyeo Museum and witness these legendary divers in action before hiking to Sunrise Peak for awe-inspiring views.            

Days 8-9  Jeju Island  
Explore this fascinating island and its incredible natural formations. Enjoy a hike through to get closer to the island’s lava tubes and volcanic cones, discover caves, see the stone pillars of Jusangjeollidae Seaside Cliff and the beautiful Jeongbang Falls which flows directly into the ocean.    

Day 10  Jeju Island to Busan        
Fly to the seaside city of Busan, South Korea’s second largest. Take a stroll along the sandy beach of Haeundae and watch the sunset from the top of Dalmaji Hill.              

Day 11  Busan              
Join a cooking class to learn how to prepare some local specialities, see the colourful houses and street art of Gamcheon Village, visit the bustling Jagalchi Fish Market and take a cable car across the sea.  

Day 12  Busan to Gyeongju      
Journey by road to Gyeongju, often referred to as the ‘museum without walls’, a treasure trove of palaces, temples and tombs. Visit an ancient tomb complex and learn about the history of this picturesque destination.  

Day 13  Gyeongju      
Head out into the countryside and hike to the top of Namsan Mountain. The trail will take you to temples, pagodas and Buddha statues where you can admire the cultural relics and enjoy the scenic views.

Day 14  Gyeongju to Seoul      
Travel back to Seoul by high speed train. Explore the city further at your leisure.      

Days 15-16  Fly home      

Departs: Private Touring is flexible – choose your ideal departure date, Jan - Dec.
