Dalmatia - City and Island Contrasts

Day 1  Split        
Arrive into Split and transfer to your hotel in the magnificent old town.        

Day 2  Split        
As the second-largest city in Croatia, there is plenty to explore, including Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a delightful picnic on the charming Bacvice Beach as well as refreshing ice cream on the promenade.          

Day 3  Krka National Park        
Visit one of Croatia’s greatest natural wonders at Krka National Park. Explore the verdant boardwalk trails, admire the inspiring waterfalls, and watch out for diverse wildlife. Afterwards, take a short river-boat ride to the quaint town of Skradin where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.        

Day 4  Hvar        
Today, hop on a ferry to the picturesque island of Hvar. Known as the sunniest spot in Croatia, staying at a picturesque pool villa, will ensure you make the most of the sunny isle. A visit in late-spring or early-summer coincides with the island’s lavender season – when the fields are at their most lush and aromatic.        

Days  5-10 Hvar    
The rest of the trip is yours to explore as you wish or simply relax in your family villa. Embrace al fresco living with breakfast on your private terrace, taking in the views across the Adriatic Sea and feeling the sense of timelessness that comes with complete peace and tranquillity. With the pool completely to yourselves, enjoy making a splash, playing pool games, or lazing on an inflatable pool lounger to your heart’s content. The garden and common areas are beautiful spaces to enjoy outdoor sports, indoor games and cooking with fresh, local ingredients using your fully equipped kitchen. If you feel like dipping your toe into the surroundings, the gorgeous beaches of Hvar are within walking distance and the Old Town and harbour are just a stone’s throw away. Why not take a daytrip to the jaw dropping Pakleni archipelago, just 30-minute ferry from Hvar port, known for being one of the best snorkelling and scuba diving spots in Croatia?        

Day  11 Hvar        
Relish your final morning breathing in the nourishing sea breeze and admiring the spectacular island views on your ferry transfer back to Split, for your onwards travels.
