Itinerary
Day 1 Split
Fly to the waterfront city of Split and check into your hotel. Later, enjoy a relaxed evening dining along the seafront promenade and soaking up the atmosphere.
Day 2 Split
Today, discover the city through its food. Join your walking food tour and try delicious, authentic food whilst your guide offers some insights into the city. There will also be fun photo opportunities along the way – the perfect chance to capture your favourite family memories. Afterwards, perhaps dive into Roman history and visit the impressive Diocletian’s Palace, an ancient and sprawling complex in the heart of the old town.
Day 3 Split
Today, embrace family fun and immerse yourself in the island’s natural beauty with its pebble beaches and forested trails. Bacvice Beach lies just outside the old town and offers warm, shallow waters ideal for swimming. Alternatively, escape into nature and hike or cycle the shaded pine forest trails up to Marjan Hill. Here, there are a number of playgrounds as well as stunning, panoramic views that make the journey worth it.
Day 4 Split to Hvar
Hop on board your ferry to the picturesque island of Hvar. After settling into your hotel, discover the maze of lanes in Hvar’s old town and find a traditional taverna for a delicious bite to eat.
Day 5 Hvar
This morning, why not visit the Spanish Fortress, combining fascinating history with breathtaking views. Afterwards, head back down to the lively central hub of Saint Stephen’s Square, perhaps rewarding yourselves with an ice cream. This afternoon, head to a beach for some well-earned rest or fun water activities.
Day 6 Hvar
Embark on one of the many scenic cycling trails or perhaps take a boat tour to the nearby Pakleni Islands where the whole family can enjoy exciting activities such as paddle boarding and snorkelling.
Day 7 Hvar to Korcula
Take the ferry to the lush island of Korcula and settle into your hotel. Spend the afternoon navigating the narrow, pedestrianised streets of Korcula old town, perhaps making a stop by the house believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, the famous explorer.
Day 8 Korcula
Today, why not take a water taxi to the beautiful nearby islet of Badija, a natural playground for swimming and scenic walking trails. The kids will love the chance to feed the friendly local deer that roam free here.
Day 9 Korcula
Explore the beautiful beaches of the island, the best of which can be found in the south which offer some rare sandy beaches such as Przina Beach in Lumbarda.
Day 10 Korcula to Dubrovnik
Board your ferry to Dubrovnik, Croatia’s famed medieval city. Spend the afternoon roaming the charming old town and enjoying tasty bites to eat in one of the many restaurants and cafés.
Day 11 Dubrovnik
Today, join your unique, private Game of Thrones tour of Dubrovnik and explore the streets of this fictional city, visiting the mysterious Red Keep and sitting on the famous Iron Throne. Both kids and adults will enjoy this tour regardless of whether you have watched the show. Afterwards, play games on the beach with laidback Banje Beach located just outside of the old town.
Day 12 Dubrovnik
This morning, why not walk along the ancient city walls for incredible panoramas, admiring the red roofs of the old town along with fortresses and turrets - a real castle adventure for the kids. Later, leave the city and opt for a ferry over to the island of Lokrum, a beautiful car-free island with lots of ideal swimming spots including a large saltwater lake.
