Central Europe's Iconic Cities by Rail

Day 1  Prague, Czech Republic  
Fly to Czech Republic’s capital, Prague. Upon arrival, head straight out to explore the maze of cobbled lanes and hidden courtyards which connect this beautiful city.  

Day 2  Prague  
Today, wander the charming streets of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the famed Charles Bridge, lined with statues leading to magnificent Hradcany Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant and later, take to the Vltava River on your included Prague River Cruise and view the cityscape from the water.  

Day 3  Prague to Vienna, Austria  
Depart Prague and travel south to the glorious city of Vienna. Stroll through this charming city; perhaps visit the imposing St Stephen’s Cathedral in the heart of the city.  

Day 4  Vienna  
Today, savour the many flavours of Vienna on a small group food tour. Enjoy delicious, handcrafted desserts, aromatic coffee and local delicacies as you weave through the city’s ornate streets and acclaimed Austrian markets. Along the way, take in celebrated landmarks such as the Imperial Hofburg Palace and the grand Ringstrasse, the city’s famous boulevard. Be inspired by Vienna’s wealth of history, culture and culinary delights.  

Day 5  Vienna to Budapest, Hungary  
Say goodbye to Austria and board the train to Budapest. Sit back and relax as you pass through scenic landscapes and beautiful rural villages en route to Hungary’s capital.  

Day 6  Budapest  
Explore historic Budapest on your included city tour. Admire sweeping views from Gellért Hill, marvel at the grandeur of St Stephen’s Basilica and drift along the Danube on a relaxing river cruise past the iconic Hungarian Parliament. Discover the towers of Fisherman’s Bastion, the majestic Buda Castle and the therapeutic thermal baths.  

Day 7  Fly home
