Copenhagen & the Mystical Faroe Islands

Day 1  Copenhagen    
Fly to Copenhagen and make your way to your hotel before setting off to explore the charming and bustling streets of Copenhagen. A city with more bicycles than people, hire a bike and experience the city like a local.  

Day 2  Copenhagen  
Today, perhaps visit Nyvavn, known for it's iconic brightly coloured town houses and be tempted by the array of delightful cafes and bakeries. Perhaps join a canal sightseeing tour and see popular attractions such as The Little Mermaid and the Copenhagen Opera house.      

Day 3  Torshavn, Faroe Islands  
Fly to the Faroe Islands. Upon arrival, collect your car and make your way to the hotel. Made up of 18 mountainous islands, the Faroe Islands offer plenty of wonderful landscapes to discover. With most islands connected by roads, bridges and tunnels, you will find easy access to a range of incredible sights.          

Days 4-7  Faroe Islands  
From your base in the capital, Torshavn, start by heading to Gasadalur where you can see the picturesque Mulafossur waterfall tumbling into the sea beneath you. Perhaps take the ferry to Kalsoy island and see the impressive Selkie statue with the ocean and mountains as its dramatic backdrop before embarking on a hike to the Kallurin lighthouse surrounded by towering cliffs. Perhaps join a local tour to see the Vestmanna bird cliffs which soar from the ocean and is residence for several birdlife in the summer months including puffins. Maybe take the ferry to Suduroy island to see the staggeringly tall Beinisvoro cliffs.  After a day exploring return to Torshavn and spend some time to wander the old town lined with charming 14th Century homes along narrow and winding lanes.  

Day 8  Fly Home  
Drop off your car at the airport and fly home.
