Itinerary
Arrive in Helsinki and transfer to your hotel. Make sure you’ve got your camera as your afternoon is free explore this enchanting city.
Day 2 Helsinki
This morning, why not step back in time to discover the city’s rich 450 year history. Explore the extraordinary Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress, dating back to the 18th Century. This unique spectacle of military architecture is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located on an island, a short ferry ride from the city. Later, marvel at the imposing Cathedral and the surrounding Senate Square in this mesmerising city which subtly blends old with new.
Day 3 Helsinki
Today, enjoy the contemporary side of Helsinki with a trip to Kiasma Modern Art Gallery. With an ultra-modern, chic façade, inside discover intriguing exhibitions showcasing the country’s finest modern art scene. Stroll through the serene Sibelius Park and stop for a bite to eat at one of Helsinki’s classic grill kiosks where you will find a mouth-watering local sausages and traditional toppings.
Day 4 Helsinki
After an exciting few days maybe spend the last few hours doing a little souvenir shopping before you take your transfer back to the airport for the flight home.
