Northern Lights & Winter Delights

Day 1      
You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Rovaniemi city centre. This town is right on the border of the Arctic Circle and the perfect location to try out a range of arctic activities.    

Days 2-3      
Start your Lapland adventure being kitted out with your warm winter wear to use over the next few days. Enjoy a visit to the kennels where you will experience one of the national pastimes, dog sledding! You will learn how to drive your own pack, hear the excitement as they impatiently wait to begin and hold on tight as the team take you off over the snowy landscape. Head out on an adrenaline adventure, zipping across the snow on a snowmobile safari! You’ll be given a full safety briefing before you start and there will be an opportunity for the drivers to swap over halfway. One of the evenings join a hunt for the northern lights. During this tour there will be a stop for a snack around a campfire where you can chat with your guide and hear about local life in the arctic. During your free time, maybe head to the Arktikum Museum and learn about the conservation projects that are ongoing around the Arctic Circle, or for the big kids, pay a visit to Santa Claus' Village!    

Day 4      
Drop off your winter wear before being taken to the airport for your onward flight.
