Paris, Milan and Rome Rail Adventure

Day 1  Paris      
Fly to the ‘city of lights’, France’s romantic capital. After settling into your hotel, why not ease into your holiday with delicious French cuisine at one of the many cosy cafés and restaurants, dining alfresco in an atmospheric setting just as the locals do.

Days 2-3  Paris  
Admire Paris from a bird’s eye view on your guided visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. Step into a glass elevator to the top and soak in the sweeping views of Paris. Afterwards, continue to explore this dynamic city at your own pace. Visit the Louvre, a landmark of Paris with its 35,000 artworks including the famous Mona Lisa and walk down the Champs-Élysées to the famed Arc de Triomphe. Why not stroll the enchanting lanes of the Latin Quarter filled with quaint boutiques and medieval walls or head to the beautiful Montmarte district where you will find a charming, slower pace.

Day 4  Paris to Milan      
Hop on board your train to the glitz and glam of Milan. Renowned as the fashion capital of Italy it is easy to spend your time shopping in its many designer boutiques, however, there is far more to the city than just its fashion. Marvel at the intricate Gothic Duomo and enjoy an atmospheric evening in one of the many piazzas.

Day 5  Milan      
Today, why not admire Leonardo da Vinci’s world-famous ‘The Last Supper’ painting, delve into Milan’s medieval history at Sforza Castle or visit the legendary Scala Theatre. For fabulous shopping, perhaps wander the cobbled streets around the ‘Golden Triangle’, home to many iconic luxury brands or walk through the intricate Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Day 6  Milan to Rome      
Board the train to Rome, Italy’s fascinating capital and settle into your hotel. Use today, to familiarise yourself with this dynamic city, its captivating streets are alive with ornate fountains, quaint piazzas and welcoming cafés where fresh coffee and delicious gelato await.

Days 7-8  Rome  
Use your included skip the line ticket to discover Rome’s iconic Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel on a guided tour. Marvel at the glorious artworks by Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael and wonder at the ornate frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. At your own pace, continue to delve into ancient Rome with icons such as the mighty Colosseum, Palatine Hill and the Pantheon. As well as visiting impressive monuments, enjoy time at leisure, wandering the charming lanes, perhaps visiting the colourful Trastevere district and savouring delicious local delicacies as you go.

Day 9  Fly home
