Athens & Milos

Days 1-3  Athens  
Arrive in a city bound by history and immediately discover the remnants of Ancient Greece as you travel through Athens’ beautiful streets to your hotel. Waste no time and head out on foot to explore the spectacular antiques of this great city. Athens has become one of Europe’s most noted spots for street art and creative surprises lie around nearly every corner. During your stay, delve into Greek history and legends on your included tour of the Acropolis. Explore renowned sites like the Temple of Athena Nike and the legendary Parthenon. Continue to the Acropolis Museum to marvel at original treasures from the temples of the Acropolis. The rest of your time can be spent exploring at leisure, whilst evenings can be enjoyed in traditional restaurants serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine.      

Day 4  Athens to Milos      
This morning board your ferry and sail across the Aegean Sea to Milos. Tucked in the southwestern corner of the Cyclades, its moon-like landscape has been carved by its volcanic past. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day embracing the calm and bliss after a busy few days in Athens.  

Days 5-7  Milos  
The highlights of Milos seem endless. Spend your days exploring the 70 fascinating beaches of the island, characterised by their unique formations and colours and steeped in stories of pirates. The most famous of these is Sarakiniko with its awe-inspiring lunar landscape crystal clear waters perfect for snorkelling. Sunbathe by turquoise sea with views to Sifnos island and in the late afternoon be rewarded with an outstanding sunset view. Uncover an array of archaeological sites, visit untouched traditional villages and take exciting boat trips to nearby islands and hidden coves.

Day 8  Milos      
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
