Itinerary
Fly to Athens, Greece’s fascinating capital city. Discover its many ancient wonders including the renowned Acropolis to see the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena. Walk to the Temple of Zeus and visit the Panathenaic Stadium where the very first Olympic games were held. Enjoy the time at leisure to meander the winding streets of the charming Plaka neighbourhood filled with shops and restaurants.
Days 3-5 Syros
Board your ferry to the charming island of Syros, known as the ‘Queen of the Cyclades’. Discover the capital of Ermoupoli with its pretty harbour, remarkable neoclassical architecture and its bustling hub at Miaouli Square. A must-see for your time here is the picturesque hilltop village of Ano Syros, located just above Ermoupoli, from which you can see gorgeous panoramic views. The village seems straight out of a postcard with its labyrinth of narrow alleyways, whitewashed houses with colourful bougainvillea and charming squares. Relax in the sun on one of the many beautiful beaches on the island and swim in its crystal clear waters.
Days 6-8 Tinos
Take the ferry over to the enchanting island of Tinos. Discover this unspoilt haven, a true hidden gem amongst the Greek islands with beautiful untouched beaches, plenty of walking trails and traditional villages. Begin your day with a stroll around the cobblestone streets of Tinos town, discovering its unique architecture and quaint boutique shops. Perhaps climb up the hill to visit the famous pilgrimage site of the Holy Church of the Virgin Mary.
Days 9-11 Mykonos
Board your ferry to lively Mykonos with its buzzing atmosphere, charming narrow streets and local shops. Discover the old town of Mykonos and wander along the iconic Matoyianni Street lined with boutiques. Stroll down to Little Venice situated on the idyllic waterfront and admire the colourful houses hanging over the sea. Fill your days with trips to stunning beaches, hidden coves and fantastic walking trails. For a magical evening watch the sunset overlooking the iconic Mykonos windmills before having a delicious dinner on the waterfront of Mykonos Town.
Day 12 Fly home
Take the ferry back to Athens directly from Mykonos before boarding your flight home.
