Day 1  Rome
Fly to Rome and upon arrival, make your own way to your hotel. Get acquainted with the Eternal City, perhaps walk along the River Tiber or visit the city’s botanical gardens.

Day 2  Rome
Spend the morning exploring the awe-inspiring Vatican Museum with a guide before gazing upon Michelangelo’s world-famous murals in the Sistine Chapel. For dinner, perhaps head to a restaurant in charming Trastevere.

Day 3  Rome to Florence
Travel on board Italy’s comfortable, high-speed rail network to the beautiful city of Florence. This evening, be sure to walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo and marvel at the panoramic vistas of this stunning city, before enjoying the delicious food and wine this region is famous for.

Day 4  Florence
Today, discover the stunning architecture and fine art of Florence. The Duomo, majestically dominating the skyline, is easily the city’s most iconic landmark and your included entry allows you to join the priority line and climb the many steps to the top. Later, why not take a relaxing stroll through the picturesque Boboli Gardens.

Day 5  Florence to Venice
Board your train and watch the rolling hills of the Italian countryside pass by as you head north to Venice. Upon arrival, enjoy your first glimpse of this romantic city and perhaps indulge in some refreshing Italian gelato while soaking up the atmosphere.

Day 6  Venice
Spend the day exploring this mesmerising and intricate city with views around every corner. Visit St Mark’s Square, home to the magnificent St Mark’s Basilica and the grand Doge’s Palace. Experience the beauty of Venice from the water as you cruise along on a Grand Canal boat tour, navigating the meandering waterways framed by towering Venetian palaces. Opt to take a stroll around Rialto Market, perhaps sampling some fresh produce or venture to Murano where the famous Murano glass is made.

Day 7  Fly home
