Florence Foodie: Farmhouse Cookery School & Wine Tasting

Day 1  Arrive in Florence      
Arrive into Florence and transfer to your hotel. This evening, experience the local atmosphere of Florence as you partake in a sunset wine tour. Enjoy a guided walk through the incredible historical districts of Oltrarno and San Frediano. Sample the exquisite local Tuscan wine, Chianti, whilst devouring one of the famous ‘crostini’. Admire the illuminated city sights such as Ponte Vecchio Bridge and Il Duomo.          

Day 2  Street Food          
This morning enjoy a guided street food tour. Learn about traditional dishes and taste some of the best local specialities such as fresh pasta, lampredotto and truffles whilst strolling the cities local food markets. This afternoon is free to explore the breathtaking Brunelleschi Dome up close. Absorb the history of this magnificent 13th Century cathedral and admire the extraordinary views from the highest building in the city.          

Day 3  Tuscan Food Lovers          
This morning you will be whisked away to a local Tuscan Farmhouse where you will spend the day learning your way around an Italian kitchen. Start your day by visiting a local Florentine market in search of the freshest ingredients before venturing to a remote farmhouse in the beautiful countryside. Be guided by expert chefs as you create an Italian spread of bruschetta, pasta, roast pork and the infamous tiramisu. Sit back with a glass of local wine and enjoy the fruits of your labour before transferring back to Florence.          

Day 4  Depart Florence          
Enjoy your final morning with a visit to one of the many museums or galleries. Later, transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
