Itinerary
Day 1 Turin
Arrive into Turin, the capital of Italy’s northern Piedmont region and pick up your car hire upon arrival. Once settled in your hotel, head out to meander the wide boulevards lined with beautiful baroque buildings, explore the bustling main square, Piazza Castello, and try the delicious hazelnut chocolate confections the region is known for in one of the many charming cafés.
Days 2-3 Turin
Spend the next couple days exploring this enchanting city. Discover the lavish interiors and peaceful gardens of the Royal Palace, easily reached by its central location in the Piazza Castello. Next, stroll to the Mole Antonelliana, the most recognisable monument of the city and take the lift to the top for stunning views over the cityscape. Make sure to see the fascinating Cinema Museum housed inside! For history enthusiasts, the Egyptian Museum is a must for its truly impressive collection of Egyptian artefacts, reached by a walk down the charming main street Via Po which is lined with shops, cafés and restaurants. For more inspiring views, visit to Monte dei Cappucini, a Renaissance-style church perched on a hill that offers dramatic panoramas of both the city and the surrounding alps.
Days 4-8 Cerretto Langhe
Drive to your next hotel, nestled in the Langhe hills of the stunning Piedmont region. Explore enchanting villages, visit UNESCO World Heritage listed vineyards, experience truffle hunting and hike or cycle the many beautiful trails. Just a short drive from the hotel is Cerretto Langhe, a small village high up on the hills with a number of tasty restaurants and authentic wineries.
