Itinerary
Days 1-3 Turin
Arrive into scenic Turin, the capital of northwestern Italy’s Piedmont region nestled at the foot of the Alps. Spend the next few days exploring this culturally rich city’s historic sights including an array of palaces, museums and churches. With many iconic car brands based in Italy, perhaps opt to visit the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile to walk through the history of the automotive industry and view the expansive collection of classic Fiat’s to modern F1 Ferraris. In this city famous for its chocolate, be sure to try some wonderful gianduiotti (ingot shaped chocolates with a hazelnut filling) from one of the local shops.
Day 4 Turin to Asti
Drive from charming Turin to the rolling vineyards around Asti, a historic small town surrounded by wine-country.
Days 5-8 Asti
Immerse yourself in the wine heritage of this beautiful region, with world-class vineyards and picturesque villages dotted across the lush countryside. Renowned for its fruity and sweet sparkling wines, savour some of these delightful wines as you discover the many vineyards. Visit the village of Asti, a short drive from your hotel, which is known for its many medieval towers and charming piazzas.
