Paris to Florence by Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Day 1  Paris              
Begin your journey in the enchanting city of Paris. Spend the day exploring the beautiful streets and taking in views of iconic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and Notre Dame Cathedral. Indulge in exquisite French cuisine at one of the many brasseries that inhabit the city. In the evening perhaps enjoy a gentle cruise down the River Seine and watch the city sparkle.              

Day 2  Paris to Florence            
Bid farewell to the ‘City of Light’ as you embark on your adventure aboard the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Be escorted to your luxurious cabin and delighted with a selection of pastries and refreshments. As evening comes, enjoy a sumptuous meal in one of the beautifully restored dining cars, prepared with the freshest ingredients. Later make your way to the Bar Car 3674 and relax listening to the resident pianist with fellow guests.              

Day 3  Florence              
Wake up to passing views of the Italian countryside and a delicious breakfast in your cabin. Enjoy your remaining time watching the ever-changing scenery or perhaps exploring the antique carriages. Arrive in Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and often considered a living museum. Transfer to your hotel and settle in before wandering the historic streets and soaking up Florence’s charm.  

Day 4  Florence              
Visit one of many outstanding museums and art galleries including The Uffizi Gallery showcasing masterpieces from the Renaissance Period and ancient statues from the Medici family. Later roam the beautifully manicured Boboli Gardens populated with statues, grottos and fountains. In the afternoon visit the striking Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, a focal point in Florence’s skyline. Marvel at the incredible detail in the artwork that adorns the Dome of Brunelleschi. Spend your evening tucking into delicious Florentine cuisine and local wine.              

Day 5  Florence
