Itinerary
Fly into beautiful Pisa and take your private transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon walking through the historic streets. No trip here is complete without a family photo with the Leaning Tower!
Days 2-4 Pisa to Florence
Take the train to Florence and discover its charming centre, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perhaps take in works of Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery or admire the marbled beauty of Michelangelo’s David. After, roll up your sleeves in your included cookery class under the watchful eye of a local chef. Learn top tips as you make pizza and authentic Italian ice cream before eating your tasty creations. Spend one of your evenings climbing the steps of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore for breathtaking views of the city.
Days 5-11 Florence to Rural Tuscany
Pick up your car from the city and begin the journey south into the rolling hills of Tuscany for your villa stay. With the flexibility of a car, you can decide how to spend your time in this idyllic region – if you can drag yourselves away from the pool! With natural beauty on your doorstep, why not take the opportunity to rent bikes and cycle the small roads linking the surrounding towns and hamlets. If you want to see some more of the beautiful Italian coastline, drive down to the Parco della Maremma. This coastal area in the south of Tuscany boasts long stretches of sandy beaches for the whole family to enjoy.
Day 12 Fly home
Drive back to Pisa airport to drop off your car for your flight home.
