Venice & Rovinj

Day 1  Venice, Italy                  
Arrive into Venice and transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. Take a walk around the local neighbourhood to admire the spectacular architecture, stopping off for a gelato in the sun.      
             
Day 2  Venice        
A boat trip on the Grand Canal is one of the most iconic experiences of Venice, this morning you’ll take in the sights in style on a small group tour. Enjoy stunning views as well as a glimpse of local Venetian life, seldom seen by tourists.      
             
Day 3  Venice              
Today you have a full day to explore the wonders of this breathtaking city, starting with your included small group Venice Walking Tour. Meet with your guide at St Mark’s Square, where you’ll learn about the city’s creation. Next explore iconic St Mark’s Basilica before taking a walk through the narrow alleyways to Rialto Bridge, an ornate 16th Century footbridge crossing the Grand Canal.      
             
Day 4  Venice to Rovinj, Croatia            
Make your way to the ferry terminal for the trip across the Adriatic to laidback Rovinj in Croatia’s Istria peninsula. You’ll be greeted by pastel hued houses that climb the hillside and charming cafes beside the sea. Head for your resort on the edge of town and relax for the afternoon in the lovely pool.  

Day 5  Rovinj          
Enjoy a day exploring the heart of this charming seaside town. Begin by following the winding streets to the top of the hill where you’ll discover St Euphemia’s Church and its iconic bell tower. Take in the far reaching views before continuing on to the harbourfront for lunch.  

Day 6  Rovinj              
Enjoy a final day beside the sea. Perhaps hop on board a local ferry to visit the neighbouring islands or head inland to explore some of Istria’s sleepy hillside towns, stopping off at one of the exceptional wineries. Alternatively, take the short walk to one of Croatia’s most inviting beaches, Lone Bay, and paddle in the clear, calm waters surrounded by lush forest.  

Day 7  Rovinj          
Have a final swim in the pool before your private transfer to Pula airport for your onward flight.
