Itinerary
Arrive into Lithuania’s wonderful capital, Vilnius. Discover the charming, cobblestoned streets of the medieval old town. Stroll between some of the city’s most magnificent sights as you see the cathedral with its unusual separate bell tower, the intriguing baroque Palace of the Grand Dukes and the renaissance architecture of Pilies Street.
Day 2 Vilnius
Continue your exploration of this marvellous city as you wander through the beautiful Bernadine Gardens, enjoying the lovely flowerbeds, impressive fountain and old oak tree. Climb a hill to the Three Crosses Monument for great views across Vilnius old town. After, take the funicular or ascend by foot up another hill to reach Gedimas Castle Tower. Inside this brick Gothic fortress learn about the fascinating history of the city in the museum exhibitions.
Day 3 Vilnius
Perhaps venture out of the city today to see more of Lithuania’s unique culture and natural beauty. Visit the picture-perfect Trakai Island Castle on the Lake Galve. Originally built in the 14th Century, this castle held significant strategic importance during medieval times.
Day 4 Vilnius
Today depart to this charming Baltic city.
