Svalbard Adventure Cruise - Saturday departure (Funken Lodge - Standard Room)

Day 1  Longyearbyen                                                                        
Arrive in Longyearbyen and spend today at leisure.

Day 2  Longyearbyen            
Enjoy a guided tour and discover remarkable sights such as the award-winning Svalbard Museum, which showcases Svalbard’s fascinating history and unique nature. Afterwards, visit Camp Barentz, meet huskies before receiving a presentation about polar bears. Later, wander the town and pop into the various shops, cafés, and galleries.          

Day 3  Board MS Serenissima      
Board your ship and journey into the Arctic wilderness to see mountains, birdlife, and historical sites in areas such as Skansbukta and Magdalenefjorden, which are renowned for their impressive scenery.  

Day 4  Svalbard        
Today, marvel at diverse landscapes and scan the surroundings for enticing wildlife such as polar bears, Arctic foxes and reindeer. In areas such as Moffen Island, you will be able to see a large population of walruses.  

Day 5  Svalbard        
Venture to scenic Kongsfjord, where majestic whales and impressive glaciers are located before visiting Ny-Ålesund, once a mining town, now a hub for research and home to the world’s northernmost post office.    

Day 6  Disembark MS Serenissima      
After a mesmerising trip, sail back to Longyearbyen and transfer to the airport for your onward arrangements.
