Itinerary
Day 2 Fly to Longyearbyen for cruise embarkation
Arrive into Longyearbyen airport and transfer to your ship.
Days 3-5 Svalbard Northern Region
Svalbard’s northern region is home to breathtaking fjords, stunning bays and impressive glaciers. You’ll be able to get up close to some of the most spectacular glaciers on small Zodiac cruises or join interesting hikes to explore Arctic landscapes and hunt for the fascinating wildlife including reindeer and the arctic fox.
Days 6-8 Svalbard Southern Region
You’ll find several large fjords in Svalbard’s southern region, all of them offering great scenic variety and beauty. Travel to Spitsbergen’s west coast which is more easily accessible and as a result, remains of mining history, whaling stations and scientific settlements can be found and visited. Depending on the time of the season, glaciers can also be visited on foot or by sea.
Day 9 Disembark in Longyearbyen and fly to Oslo
Day 10 Fly home from Oslo
