Itinerary
Day 1 Tromso
Fly to Tromso. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel in the city centre. Later, head downtown to one of the many iconic restaurants and indulge in some delicious Nordic cuisine.
Day 2 Tromso
This morning, take a ride on the Fjellheisen cable car for magical views of the city and the surrounding rugged landscape. For lunch, why not sample the Norwegian delicacy of stockfish or buy fresh Lyngen shrimp to enjoy on the white sands of Telegrafbukta beach. Spend the afternoon exploring the cultural delights of Tromso city. Perhaps visit the striking triangular shape of the Arctic Cathedral, then learn about the region’s rich history of Arctic expeditions at the Tromso University Museum and Polar Museum.
Day 3 Tromso
Enjoy a morning at leisure further exploring this wonderful city. In the afternoon, board a hydro-electric ship and cruise along the rugged coastline of Arctic Norway keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as seals, dolphins and eagles.
