Day 1  Krakow
Fly to Krakow, an ancient city fabled to have been founded in the 7th Century after the defeat of a dragon. Transfer to your hotel and absorb the vibrant atmosphere which permeates through the city’s picturesque streets.

Day 2  Krakow
Take in Krakow’s historical highlights today with a visit to the spectacular Royal Castle before admiring the opulent interior of Wawel Cathedral. Later, head to the Kazimierz District, the once thriving Jewish Quarter before being devastated during the Holocaust, now transformed into a bohemian neighbourhood with hip restaurants, enthralling museums and historic tributes. Spend the afternoon absorbing the city’s poignant past; discover Schindler’s Museum, home to innovative exhibitions that tell the moving story of the Second World War. This evening, why not sample traditional fare of pierogies, zapiekanka and oscypek at local hideaways as you explore Krakow’s bustling markets?  

Day 3  Krakow
Visit Wieliczka today to explore one of the world’s deepest and oldest salt mines. Located 135m underground, weave through 3km of tunnels and admire the impressive chapel made of salt, complete with a glittering chandelier. Back in the city, why not spend the evening at Tytano, an old tobacco factory now home to eclectic eateries and quirky late night venues.  

Day 4  Fly home
Pick up some final souvenirs before transferring back to the airport for your return flight.
