Azores Island Hopping Adventure

Day 1  São Miguel
Fly to São Miguel. Arrive into Ponta Delgada, the Azorean capital located on the beautiful island of São Miguel, and transfer to your hotel.

Days 2-3  São Miguel
Discover the awe-inspiring cliffs, beaches and spectacular crater lakes on an included day tour visiting to the remarkable twin blue and green lakes of Sete Cidades. Why not search for majestic marine life including sperm whales, dolphins and turtles by boat, or take to the volcanic hot springs in picturesque Furnas?

Days 4-5  Faial
Fly to bustling Horta on the island of Faial. Admire the colourful boats in the marina and open air exhibition of murals made on the jetty by visiting sailors. Enjoy a tour of the island’s volcanic landscape including Capelinhos Volcano and the Caldeira crater. Known for fresh seafood, be sure to enjoy the catch of the day while you’re here!

Days 6-7  Pico
Catch the ferry to Pico, dominated by the majestic Mount Pico and known as the ‘black island’ due to its volcanic soil and black stone architecture. Marvel at the dramatic landscape on am included tour, learning about the island’s whaling and winemaking heritage, before indulging in a sumptuous three course lunch featuring regional produce.

Days 8-10  Terceira
Fly to Terceira, the festive heart of the Azores; a place full of colourful celebrations year round. Take in the quaint capital Angra do Heroísmo, Monte Brasil Nature Reserve and be sure to sample local dairy delicacies.

Day 11  Fly home
