Day 1  Lisbon
Fly to Lisbon, Portugal's capital, and transfer to your hotel before heading out to explore this incredible city. Wander the cobbled streets marvelling at the exquisite architecture, take a ride on one of the iconic trams or simply relax in a delightful sun-drenched plaza with a glass of local wine.

Day 2  Lisbon
Today, embark on your included Sintra local tour, where you will be whisked along the coast to the fairytale palaces and grand villas of regal Sintra to marvel at the colourful architecture and sweeping countryside views.

Day 3  Lisbon
Take some time to walk the city’s streets, discovering the historic monuments and vibrant culture of this characterful capital. Explore the charming district of Alfama, where streets are lined with craft shops and melancholy Fado music can be heard in local restaurants. Venture to the highest point in the city, Castelo de São Jorge, where you can take in stunning views of the city and the River Tagus. Perhaps delight in the boutiques and cafés of stylish Chiado and tonight, why not head to the Time Out Market and sample a wide variety of Lisbon’s most celebrated cuisine.

Day 4  Lisbon to Porto
This morning, depart Lisbon on the Alfa Pendular train and travel through the scenic countryside to the enchanting city of Porto. On arrival, marvel at the traditional blue and white tiles that line the walls of São Bento station. After checking into your hotel maybe take a stroll along the riverside promenade and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere.

Day 5  Porto
Spend a leisurely morning admiring the sights of Portugal’s second largest city. Perhaps visit Sé Cathedral, the oldest building in Porto, whose precinct offers views of the river and cascading houses. This afternoon your included Porto Food Tour will introduce you to this atmospheric region’s culinary delights and a few hidden gems known only to locals.

Day 6  Porto
Wander the tangled lanes of medieval Ribeira and view the extravagant Barchurches. Later, make sure to cross the Luís I Bridge to visit the traditional riverside port caves and sample a selection of local port wine, or perhaps take a gentle sightseeing cruise along the Douro River.

Day 7  Fly home
This morning, why not climb to the top of the fabulous Clérigos Tower, the baroque 18th Century church that will offer a different view of Porto? Enjoy a final few hours in this beautiful city before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
