Seville & the beaches of Costa del Sol

Day 1  Seville    
Arrive into the southern Spanish city of Seville, renowned for its stunning Moorish architecture, iconic flamenco performances and traditional Andalucían cuisine. The next three days are yours to explore independently. This afternoon, wander the cobblestone streets of the Santa Cruz district, stopping for tasty local bites as you go and perhaps watch a fabulous flamenco show in the evening.    

Day 2  Seville    
Today, visit the Alcázar of Seville, a magnificent Moorish palace complex which is still in use today. Afterwards, why not visit the neighbouring Seville Cathedral? Here, you could climb the Giralda bell tower for panoramic city views. In the afternoon, wander the picturesque Parque de Maria Luisa which stretches along the Guadalquivir River and reach the lively central square of Plaza de España for an atmospheric evening meal.    

Day 3  Seville    
This morning, cross the river to the colourful Triana district to explore its lively markets and its ceramic shops. In the evening, why not enjoy dramatic sunset views from the modern Setas de Sevilla (Metropol Parasol), located in the old quarter?    

Day 4  Seville to Costa del Sol    
Today, transfer to Seville airport and pick up your car hire before driving to the glorious southeast coast. Settle into your beach resort where you can relax and soak up the sun over the next week.

Days 5-10  Costa del Sol    
With your car at your disposal, the beautiful Costa del Sol region is easy to explore. Perhaps hike the breathtaking trails of the Andalusian Mountains or find yourself heading to a different beach every day. Alternatively, make full use of the hotel facilities and lap up the well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Day 11  Costa del Sol    
Drive to Malaga airport to drop off your car and board your flight for your onward travels.
