Day 1  Madrid, Spain
Fly to Madrid and settle into your hotel. Spend your afternoon discovering Plaza de Cibeles, where the beautiful Cibeles Palace is situated.

Day 2  Madrid
This morning, unearth the historical secrets of the city by visiting the impressive Royal Palace, the largest palace in Western Europe. Later, amble down the famous Gran Vía, showcasing an array of 20th Century architecture and charming boutique stores.

Day 3  Madrid to Barcelona
Board your train to the beautiful coastal city of Barcelona. After settling into your hotel, perhaps head to the city’s expansive beach. Stretching nearly three miles, you will be sure to find a spot to sunbathe and settle in to the Spanish way of life.

Day 4  Barcelona
Today, visit Parc Guell and marvel at the stunning views across the city. Later, admire awe-inspiring La Sagrada Familia, an outstanding cathedral that has recently been completed after being under construction since 1882.

Day 5  Cruise embarkation
Transfer to Barcelona port and board Sun Princess^®.

The largest port on the Mediterranean, Marseille is France’s second largest city and a melting pot of cultures. It is also your gateway to Provence, immortalised in the canvases of Van Gogh, Cézanne, Matisse and Picasso.

Day 9  Ajaccio, Corsica
The birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, Corsica boasts dramatic cliffs, golden beaches, and is known as the ‘scented isle’ for its fragrant wild vegetation.

Day 10  Santa Margherita, Italy
Santa Margherita is an elegant resort town on the Italian Riviera, famous for its colourful waterfront and fresh seafood.

Day 11  La Spezia for Florence or Pisa
A former fishing village at the border of Liguria and Tuscany, La Spezia offers easy access to enchanting Florence and Pisa.

Day 12  Disembark in Civitavecchia for Rome and fly home
