Seasons of Svalbard - Autumn

Day 1  Svalbard            
Arrive into Longyearbyen airport and transfer to your hotel in the town centre. Once you’ve checked in, head out to explore the local shops and restaurants or, if there’s time, visit the Svalbard Museum to learn about the history, flora and fauna of this fascinating region.            

Days 2-3  Svalbard  
Time for two days of action-packed Arctic activities. Join a tour in search of local wildlife around Longyearbyen town and the surrounding valleys. Visit the kennels to meet the dogs and help to harness your team. Depending on the snow levels, you’ll take a ride either by sled along the frozen riverbed, or on wheeled karts through the neighbouring valley. Spend one of your evenings at Camp Berentz; outside of Longyearbyen, this cosy cabin is ideal for relaxing beside a fire and hearing myths about the creation of the Aurora and the ‘King of the Arctic’, the regal polar bear.            

Day 4  Svalbard            
Enjoy a morning at leisure or perhaps one more activity before being taken to the airport for your onward flight.
