Seasons of Svalbard - Winter

Day 1  Svalbard              
Arrive into Longyearbyen airport and transfer to your hotel in the town centre. Once you’ve checked in, head out to explore the local shops and restaurants or, if there’s time, visit the Svalbard Museum to learn about the history and wildlife of this fascinating region.              

Days 2-3  Svalbard  
Time for two days of action-packed activities in the dramatic landscape of the Arctic desert. You’ll travel out of town by Snowcat to seek the elusive glow of the Northern Lights and head off dog sledding along the valley floor, keeping an eye out for reindeer and arctic foxes in the surrounding peaks. Spend an evening listening to stories around the fire at Camp Barentz Cabin, located away from the bright lights of the settlement, you’ll have the opportunity to look for the dancing Aurora and hear stories of explorers who discovered the Svalbard Archipelago.              

Day 4  Svalbard              
Enjoy a morning at leisure or perhaps one more activity before being taken to the airport for your onward flight.
