72 Hours in Istanbul

Day 1  Istanbul              
Fly to Istanbul, the city where East meets West, upon arrival transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, be sure to visit Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and still houses the fifth largest diamond in the world.              

Day 2  Istanbul  
This morning, meet your guide for your private tour of this fantastic city. Visit one of the most majestic Ottoman mosques famous for its six minarets and 17th Century handmade blue tiles, the Blue Mosque before going to one of the most iconic buildings in the world, the grandiose Hagia Sophia. Practice your haggling skills in the oldest covered market in the world, the Grand Bazaar before taking in spectacular views of the Istanbul skyline as you enjoy a two hour cruise along the Bosphorus Strait by public ferry.  

Day 3  Istanbul    
Today, enjoy your included tour highlighting another side of Istanbul. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of the city’s history at the Hippodrome before wandering through the Spice Bazaar, a buzzing Ottoman-era marketplace. Wander through the old Greek and Jewish neighbourhoods and visit the magnificent Suleymaniye Mosque. This evening, relax after an active day with a traditional Turkish bath and savour local cuisine in an authentic Turkish restaurant.            

Day 4  Fly home              
Enjoy a morning at leisure before transferring back to the airport for your onward flight.
