Brahmaputra River Cruise: Rhinos & More

Day 1  Fly to Kolkata    

Days 2-3  Kolkata     
Upon arrival in Kolkata, transfer to your hotel. The next morning set off on a tour of this artistic city.              

Day 4  Kolkata to Guwahati        
Fly to Guwahati and board the 4★ ABN Charaidew II. Set sail towards your first stop at Sualkuchi. This bustling little town is the centre of Assamese silk production, and you’ll see the process in action at a silk weaving workshop.              

Days 5-10  Brahmaputra River Cruise        
Spend the next few days exploring this diverse region on excursions to visit unique temples, riverside villages and a tea garden, with plenty of time to relax on deck, watching life unfold on the riverbanks. Enjoy a day trip to Nameri National Park, where you’ll raft down the Jia-Bhoreli River, keeping your eyes peeled for great hornbills and wild elephants. For many, a highlight will be jeep safaris in Kaziranga National Park, home to two thirds of the world’s remaining population of onehorned rhinos, as well as tigers, deer, buffalos, elephants and a rich variety of birdlife.              

Day 11  Silghat to Kolkata      
After a relaxed breakfast, bid farewell to your fellow passengers, transfer to Guwahati and then take a flight to Kolkata for your final night in the city.    

Days 12-13  Fly home
