Day 1  Fly to Kochi    

Days 2-4  Kochi  
Welcome to Kochi! Upon arrival transfer to your hotel and use the rest of your first day to relax. The following morning explore the historic port city of Kochi on a half day city tour. In the evening watch a mesmerising Kathakali dance performance. With its roots in the 17th Century, this classical dance drama is often based on the Ramayana stories and is renowned for the elaborate make-up and costumes of the performers.  Spend your final day in Kochi at leisure to further explore this delightful city.            

Day 5  Kochi to Backwaters            
Travel to Alleppey and board your houseboat for the night. Enjoy glimpses of rural life as you cruise gently along the vast network of waterways and lakes that make up the beautiful backwaters.    

Days 6-7  Backwaters to Kottayam  
Transfer by road and boat to 3★+ Philipkutty’s Farm, a small family-run property set on a tranquil private island. With its lakeside cottages, Philipkutty’s offers a wonderful homestay experience and delicious Keralan home cooked meals.      

Day 8  Kottayam to Kozhikode (Calicut)    
Watch the world unfurl outside your window as you journey north to your hotel for the night, set beside the Chaliyar River a short drive from Kozhikode (Calicut).          

Days 9-14  Kozhikode (Calicut) to Neeleshwar          
Continue your journey along the Malabar Coast to 4★ Neeleshwar Hermitage, a boutique resort which enjoys a fabulous location overlooking a long unspoilt beach in northern Kerala. This charming property offers a quiet and relaxing retreat for the next few days.    

Days 15-16  Transfer to Mangalore and fly home
