Day 1  Fly to Colombo    
     
Days 2-3  Kegalle  
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kegalle.  The following day is at leisure.

Day 4  Kegalle to Kandy      
Visit the Elephant Freedom Project in Kegalle and learn about the work they are doing to protect these majestic animals.  After, continue to your next property in Kandy.

Days 5-6  Kandy  
Hike down to the pretty Hulu River for a meditation session. The area features a large variety of birdlife, and on a lucky day, you may spot one of the few resident fishing owls who are located near the river.

Days 7-8  Kandy to Gal Oya NP  
Drive east to Gal Oya National Park. Enjoy a game drive, a boat safari on the lake, and join a member of the local forest-dwelling Veddha community for a walk through the jungle. Learn about local nature as forest is brought to life, and hear about the tribe’s use of medicinal plants, ancient hunting grounds and cave dwellings.

Days 9-10  Gal Oya NP to Ella      
Head towards Ella, stopping to visit a tea factory en route, where you will learn more about the tea-making process. The next morning, hike up nearby Little Adam’s Peak and visit the picturesque Nine Arch Bridge as well as the Rawana Ella waterfall.

Days 11-13  Ella to Koggala      
This morning, take a short scenic train ride to Haputale and continue by road to Koggala.  Spend three nights relaxing in your beach resort.

Days 14-15  Transfer to Colombo and fly home
