Days 1-2  Fly to Auckland  

Days 3-4  Auckland  
Arrive in Auckland and explore this lovely waterside city at your own pace. Perhaps book a tour to visit the Hobbiton movie set, All Blacks Experience or opt to do some food and wine tasting on beautiful Waiheke Island.    

Day 5  Auckland to Waitomo      
Collect your motorhome and head south to Waitomo. Visit the magnificent Waitomo Glowworm caves in the afternoon for an incredible natural light show from these fascinating insects.      

Day 6  Waitomo to Rotorua    
Travel to the geothermal hotspot of Rotorua, home to bubbling geysers and volcanic mud pools, passing scenic vistas en route.    

Day 7  Rotorua    
Explore this geothermal wonderland by taking a dip in the thermal hot springs, learning about New Zealand’s Māori fascinating heritage or perhaps take the Skyline Rotorua Gondola up the dormant volcano Mount Ngongotaha for spectacular views over Lake Rotorua.      

Day 8  Rotorua to Taupō      
Take the short drive through rolling hills to the lakeside town of Taupō.    

Day 9  Taupō to Wellington      
Continue through the heart of the North Island to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, where you have time to explore at leisure. Stroll through the beautiful Botanic Gardens or along the waterfront and sample some tasty food in one of the many restaurants in the city.    

Day 10  Wellington to Marlborough    
Board the ferry to the South Island and drive to the spectacular world-renowned wine region of Marlborough. Spend the evening in comfort at the boutique, family-owned Gibson Bridge Vineyard, your included maui Winery Haven experience.

Day 11  Marlborough to Nelson      
Drive west to Nelson near the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park, renowned for its walking opportunities, golden beaches and beautiful coves.  

Day 12  Abel Tasman NP      
Today, enjoy a scenic cruise through the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for playful fur seals! Admire the surrounding natural beauty as you embark on a guided walk and kayaking tour.    

Day 13  Nelson to Punakaiki      
Set out early for the long but beautiful drive to Punakaiki, and a great base for exploring Paparoa National Park and to see the unique Pancake Rocks.  

Day 14  Punakaiki to Fox Glacier      
Head south to the small picturesque village of Fox Glacier. Visit Lake Matheson known for its mirror-like reflections and one of New Zealand’s most scenic places.        

Day 15  Fox & Franz Josef Glacier      
Take to the air this morning for an unforgettable helicopter ride over the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. Be prepared for mesmerising views of these huge valleys of ice.    

Day 16  Fox Glacier to Queenstown      
Drive through stunning Mount Aspiring National Park to lively Queenstown.  

Days 17-18  Queenstown    
The options for exploration from Queenstown are almost endless. Perhaps delight in a tour cruising the waters of Milford Sound, join a city tour or ride the skyline for epic views.  

Day 19  Queenstown to Oamaru      
Depart Queenstown and head towards the east coast to Oamaru, known for being the home of the world’s smallest penguins.  

Day 20  Oamaru to Christchurch      
Travel to Christchurch to drop off your motorhome and spend your final night in a hotel. Choose to savour your last dinner in New Zealand on board the Christchurch Tramway Restaurant.  

Days 21-22  Fly home
