Costa Rica Coast to Coast

Day 1  San José    
Fly to San José. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 2  San José to Osa Peninsula
Fly to Drake Bay and transfer to your jungle lodge in the biodiverse Osa Peninsula.

Days 3-4  Osa Peninsula  
Spend the next couple of days immersing yourself in this unique environment. Hike trails through the emerald jungle of Corcovado National Park in search of prolific wildlife and snorkel in the protected marine reserve around Caño Island.

Day 5  Osa Peninsula to Uvita    
Travel to Uvita, where rainforest-clad mountains loom over secluded beaches. This spectacular national park is home to annually migrating humpback whales, alongside Olive Ridley and Hawksbill turtles.

Days 6-7  Uvita  
Take to the water and enjoy a whale and dolphin watching tour in Marino Ballena National Park. The following day is at leisure.

Day 8  Uvita to Turrialba    
This morning, drive to Turrialba, stopping en route in San Gerardo de Dota for a guided nature walk. This area is great for birdlife, including the majestic resplendent quetzal.

Days 9-10  Turrialba to the Pacuare River    
Transfer to the Pacuare River and embark on an exciting rafting adventure to reach your lodge. The following day, enjoy the wealth of activities.

Day 11  Pacuare River to Puerto Viejo
Raft through dramatic canyons and fast flowing rapids back to the town of Siquirres. Transfer by road to charming Puerto Viejo.

Days 12-14  Puerto Viejo    
Today, visit the Bri Bri community to learn about South Caribbean indigenous culture. Enjoy the rest of your time here relaxing by the coast.

Days 15-16  Transfer to San José and fly home
