Itinerary
Upon arrival in San José transfer to your hotel in the lush Central Valley.
Days 2-3 Central Valley
Transfer to the wonderful 4★+ The Retreat Costa Rica. Explore and enjoy walking trails, restorative yoga sessions and wellness classes.
Days 4-6 Arenal
Head into the rainforest at the foothills of the Arenal Volcano and stay at the stunning 4★+ boutique Amor Arenal. Soak in natural hot springs, wander along jungle trails and try a cookery class to learn how to make tasty and healthy Costa Rican cuisine. In addition, visit the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, a fantastic reserve for wildlife and bird-watching. Explore with an expert guide and look out for monkeys, sloths, caiman and Jesus Christ lizards.
Days 7-11 Nosara
Drive to the Pacific coast and the palm-fringed shores of Nosara. Spend three full days at the 4★ boutique Harmony Hotel. The hotel has an extensive yoga and wellness program with one complimentary class included per day. Soak up the relaxed ambience of this laidback property or head to the nearby beach to try surfing. At the end of your holiday fly back to San José for your onward arrangements.
