Itinerary
Fly from Santiago to Hanga Roa, the only town on Easter Island and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Anakena
Today your guide will take you on a captivating journey around the island with tales of its history and legends. Discover the mysterious moai (giant statues), the Rano Raraku volcano and the beautiful beach of Anakena.
Day 3 Orongo & Ahu Akivi
Drive up the extinct Rano Kau volcano for panoramic views over the island. Continue to the ceremonial village of Orongo and later learn about the ’birdmen’ who scaled the cliffs searching for eggs in ritualistic rites of passage. End the day at the evocative Ahu Akivi site which has seven of the best preserved moai on the island.
Day 4 Hanga Roa to Santiago
Transfer to the airport and fly to Santiago.
