Day 1  Quito  
Welcome to Ecuador. Upon arrival in Quito, transfer to the 5★ Casa Gangotena. This beautiful, converted mansion is located in the heart of Quito’s charming old town.

Day 2  Quito  
Join your guide for a fascinating walking tour of Ecuador’s capital city and visit the nearby Equator Monument.

Day 3  Quito to Cloud Forest  
Today, drive north to the fantastic 4★+ Mashpi Lodge, situated in the lush Andean cloud forest. Meet the lodge’s naturalist guides and embark on a guided nature walk.

Days 4-5  Mashpi Cloud Forest Reserve  
Explore an enchanted world of giant ferns and towering trees with a range of activities over the next couple of days. Rise early to see the birdlife at their most active, hike forest trails, glide across the canopy and enjoy soaring views from the lodge’s observation tower.

Day 6  Mashpi Cloud Forest Reserve to Hacienda Zuleta  
Enjoy a final morning in the cloud forest before driving to the secluded 4★ Hacienda Zuleta, a traditional estate built by order of the Spanish King at the end of the 16th Century.

Day 7  Hacienda Zuleta  
Spend a leisurely day on the expansive grounds of the hacienda. Explore the walking trails or visit the Andean Condor Rehabilitation Centre.

Day 8  Hacienda Zuleta to Quito  
Visit the lively market town of Otavalo before continuing to Quito.

Day 9  Quito to Galápagos Islands
Fly to Baltra and board the 4★+ La Pinta. This modern and stylish ship boasts spacious social areas, on hand expert naturalist guides and a wealth of wonderful activities.

Days 10-12  Galápagos Islands  
Spend the next few days exploring this remarkable archipelago. Snorkel with fantastic marine life, hike to picturesque viewpoints and learn about the history of these unique and breathtaking islands.

Days 13-14  Santa Cruz Island  
Disembark your cruise and transfer to 4★+ Finch Bay Galápagos Hotel on Santa Cruz Island where you have time to relax or explore the local area on a variety of optional activities offered by the hotel.

Day 15  Santa Cruz Island to Quito  
Transfer to Baltra airport to fly to Quito, staying at 4★ Hilton Colon Quito for your final day at leisure.

Days 16-17  Fly home
