Galapagos Explorer

Day 1  Quito            
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or explore the city at your leisure.            

Day 2  Quito            
This morning enjoy a walking tour of Quito’s old town to see pretty Independence Plaza, the impressive Presidential Palace and the striking Monastery of San Francisco. Later visit the Equatorial Monument and stand right on the equator itself at latitude 0 °.            

Day 3  Quito to the Galápagos Islands      
Fly to the Galápagos Islands and this afternoon go in search of the famous giant tortoise in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Spend your next four nights on board the comfortable and contemporary 3★ Bonita yacht.        

Day 4  Santa Cruz Island to Floreana Island
Today you will visit Floreana Island to snorkel waters teeming with marine life around the dramatic Devil’s Crown and explore the beautiful beach at Post Office Bay in search of sea lions and Galápagos penguins.          

Day 5  Floreana Island to Española Island      
Sail to Española Island, home to famous Suarez Point, and be on the lookout for marine iguanas, the iconic blue-footed booby and maybe even a colony of waved albatross (April to January). In the afternoon, be amazed by the fine coral sand, turquoise ocean and incredible birdlife at stunning Gardner Bay.            

Day 6  Española Island to San Cristóbal Island
Marvel at imposing volcanic rock formations and sheltered bays where sea lion pups play in tidal pools as you discover San Cristóbal Island and its incredible surroundings.

Day 7  Galápagos Islands to Quito     
Enjoy a final morning in this unique archipelago before you disembark and return to Baltra Airport for your flight to Quito. On arrival transfer to your hotel and choose to take the evening to simply unwind or head out to explore even more of this captivating city.    

Day 8  Quito        
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
