Saint Lucia & Guyana Adventure

Day 1 Georgetown, Guyana      
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.      

Day 2 Georgetown      
Enjoy a full day tour of Guyana’s thriving capital city. See the highlights including the impressive gothic style St George’s Cathedral, the Bourda Market and the beautiful Botanical Gardens. There will also be the chance to sample some delicious Guyanese cuisine before enjoying a cruise on the Demerara River.      

Day 3 Georgetown & Kaieteur Falls      
Rise early to see the abundant birdlife in the botanical gardens at dawn. Later see one of Guyana's most impressive natural wonders, the remarkable Kaieteur Falls. Surrounded by vast rainforest, this is one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world and sure to make for an unforgettable day.  

Day 4 Georgetown & Mahaica River      
Head out of the city to the Mahaica River, a wonderful spot for seeing a variety of birdlife including the Hoatzin, Guyana’s national bird. Also search for howler monkeys and Giant River Otters. On return to Georgetown explore the seawall which bursts into life each Sunday with Caribbean music, streetfood and pop-up bars.      

Day 5 Georgetown to Saint Lucia      
Learn how to make “7 curry”, a traditional Guyanese dish. You will pick up the ingredients from the local market before cooking and eating your creation. Transfer to the airport in time for your flight to the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia.  

Days 6 -11 Saint Lucia        
Relax and enjoy a week in this stunning destination. Saint Lucia offers beautiful beaches, wonderful snorkelling, lush forests plus lively markets and excellent restaurants.  

Day 12 Saint Lucia        
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
