Itinerary
Day 1 Mexico City
Upon arrival in Mexico City, an ideal stopover destination, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Mexico City
This morning, begin your city tour in Zocaló (the main square), visiting the cathedral and walking along Madero Street for panoramic views over some of the city’s major sights. This afternoon, drive to the preserved archaeological site of Teotihuacán and discover its temples, palaces and pyramids that were sacred to the Aztecs. Walk along the imposing Avenue of the Dead to view the immense Pyramids of the Sun and Moon.
Day 3 Mexico City
Today, travel to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Puebla. On the way, make a stop in Tonantzintla to visit its ornate church before continuing to neighbouring Cholula to discover the Great Pyramid. Arriving in Puebla in the afternoon, explore the historic centre, lined with churches and colonial-era mansions, many adorned with the hand-painted Talavera tiles for which Puebla is famous. Return to Mexico City in the early evening.
Day 4 Mexico City
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
