Magical Mexico

Days 1-3  Mexico City  
Fly into dynamic Mexico City and transfer to your hotel. Over the next couple of days, explore the Zocaló (main square) and Palacio Nacional in Mexico City, before travelling to impressive Teotihuacán to see the pyramids.

Day 4  Mexico City to Puebla  
Head to the UNESCO world heritage listed town of Puebla to explore the well preserved historic centre. Explore the city’s architectural gems including the neoclassical cathedral and baroque Capilla del Rosario.

Days 5-6  Puebla to Oaxaca  
Drive to Oaxaca and spend an afternoon at leisure. The next day, visit the impressive archaeological site of Monte Albán, before exploring the colourful markets and bustling square of Oaxaca.

Days 7-8  Oaxaca to San Cristóbal de las Casas  
Fly to Tuxtla Gutiérrez (via Mexico City) and transfer to your hotel. The following day, enjoy a boat journey through the Sumidero Canyon, one of the most spectacular natural reserves in Mexico. Visit Chiapa de Corzo and Tzotzil villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán before returning to San Cristóbal de las Casas in the evening.

Day 9  San Cristóbal de las Casas to Palenque  
Drive to Palenque and venture deep into the jungle to witness the Palenque ruins, a stunning archaeological site showcasing some of the finest Mayan sculptures and architecture.

Day 10  Palenque to Campeche  
Drive on to the historic port city of Campeche. Enjoy an afternoon tour exploring the UNESCO world heritage listed city centre and hilltop fortresses.

Days 11-12  Campeche to Mérida  
En route to Mérida, stop at the amazing Palace of the Masks in Kabah and the world heritage listed Mayan site of Uxmal. The following day, take a boat ride through the estuaries of Celestún, one of the world’s largest breeding grounds of pink flamingos.

Day 13  Mérida to Chichén Itza  
Travel to Chichén Itza and explore this magnificent archaeological site which is set within dense jungle.

Days 14-15  Transfer to Cancún and fly home
