Day 1  Lima, Peru        
Upon arrival in Peru transfer to your hotel in the vibrant capital city of Lima.        

Day 2  Lima        
See the highlights of this sprawling and interesting city with a guided tour.        

Day 3  Lima to the Sacred Valley  
Fly to Cusco and drive into the beautiful Sacred Valley.

Day 4  Sacred Valley      
Visit the colourful Pisac market and climb up the fortress ruins in the remarkable Incan citadel of Ollantaytambo.        

Day 5  Inca Trail: Sacred Valley to Wayllabamba        
Drive to the starting point of the Inca Trail. Walk past impressive Inca ruins and through pretty valleys lying in the shadow of snow-capped mountains.        

Day 6  Inca Trail: Wayllabamba to Pacaymayo        
A full day hike will take you over the highest point on the trail, Abra Warmihuañusca or Dead Woman’s Pass.

Day 7  Inca Trail: Pacaymayo to Wiñay Wayna      
Observe the quality of Inca architecture with a visit to two archaeological sites. The vegetation will become thicker today as you approach the jungle.        

Day 8  Inca Trail: Wiñay Wayna to Machu Picchu
Rise early to reach Intipunku (the Sun Gate) in time for sunrise. Here you will have a magical first view over this iconic site. Descend the mountain and transfer to your hotel in the nearby town of Aguas Calientes.        

Day 9  Machu Picchu to Cusco        
Return to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the ruins before heading to Cusco.  

Days 10-11  Cusco        
Join a guided tour to bring the history of this charming town to life and enjoy time at leisure to further explore at your own pace.  

Day 12  Cusco to Dominican Republic  
Fly via Lima to the tropical paradise of the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.        

Days 13-16  Dominican Republic        
Spend four days relaxing in this beautiful destination. Try some of the activities on offer at your luxurious resort, from snorkelling to kayaking, and pampering spa treatments to movie nights on the beach.  

Day 17  Dominican Republic        
Return to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
