Itinerary
Days 1-2 Cusco to Puno
Journey south from Cusco to Puno, a city situated by the vast and beautiful Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Visit Taquile Island and the Uros floating islands, meeting the locals and hearing of their traditional way of life.
Days 3-4 Puno to Colca Canyon
Enjoy the scenic journey past picturesque lagoons, home to Andean flamingos and stop at Pampa Cañahua to sample the traditional coca leaf tea, en route to Colca Canyon. Spend your next day at leisure.
Days 5-6 Colca Canyon to Arequipa
On your way to Arequipa, visit Condor’s Cross from where you can hopefully catch sight of condors soaring overhead alpacas. The following day, enjoy a private sightseeing tour of Arequipa before visiting the impressive Santa Catalina Convent, a ‘citadel’ within the city.
Day 7 Arequipa
Transfer to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
